How To Respond to a Debt Summons?
Create a response for your Debt Summons Complaint.

Every complaint enumerates a list of allegations that the Plantiff (accuser / creditor ) brings against you. Some of this may simply be your name, your address, and also the main complain of the amount of debt. These list can range from any number but ussually 10.

Each and every allegation of the list must be answered.

There are 3 general ways to answer the allegations:
  1. "I'M NOT SURE": (You might want to select this option when there is ANYTHING you don't know or undrstand, including confusing legal language). There is nothing wrong with answering this way.
  2. "I COMPLETELY AGREE": (You should only select this option if you agree with EVERYTHING in the allegation. However, responding this way to an allegation makes winning easier for the person suing you and could result in your defeat.)
  3. "PROVE IT OR DENY": (You should opt for this option when you want to make the lawyer suing you prove the paragraph is true. Responding this way to all paragraphs is a legal strategy that works well for many people.)
This template utilizes the DENY AND PROVE IT strategy to make the lawyer suing you prove the allegations is true. This can help by delaying a lawsuit or even getting it dismissed. Delaying is the most likely outcome, but with it comes the opportunity to negotiate lower balance and lower payments.
